The Bryn Mawr Alumnae Association welcomed back a record-breaking 1,100 alumnae/i and guests to Reunion 2013. Alumnae of the ’80s joined graduating classes of years ending in three and eight. See the slideshow above or this online album for a pictorial tour of the weekend.

Reunion 2013 offered a variety of activities for personal, professional, and intellectual enrichment. Lynne Meadow ’68, who was interviewed by Neda Ulaby ’93, told attendees about her pioneering leadership of the Manhattan Theatre Club and how to succeed in the tough world of Broadway. Reed Abelson ’83, Pamela Feuer ’83, Susan Messina ’86, and Dr. Jane Brady ’88, talked about “Your Healthcare: Who’s Really in the Driver’s Seat?” and gave alumnae/i an insider’s view into the world of healthcare and medicine today. Other panels and lectures touched on topics as varied as career transitions, Shakespeare, and “Why Books Survive.” Mawrters also celebrated timeless campus traditions, such as Step Sing, and enjoyed brand new events, including Reunion Jubilee on Saturday afternoon and an 80s Dance Party. The weekend culminated with the traditional Parade of Classes.

During the annual meeting of the Alumnae Association, Liana Sterling ’03 was honored with the Young Alumna Service Award, Catherine Allegra ’83 received the Distinguished Alumna Service Award, and Ruth Kaiser Nelson ’58 accepted the Lifetime of Service Award.
