Bryn Mawr College President Jane McAuliffe, Abby Hochman ’13, and Christina Rose Dubb, who recently joined the College as the coordinator of the community-college-transfer initiative, joined officials from Montgomery County Community College last week to celebrate the new transfer agreement between the two schools.
Last spring, Bryn Mawr College received a three-year, $400,000 Community College Transfer Initiative (CCTI) grant from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation to fund its participation in a program that helps community-college students transfer to prestigious four-year institutions.
Through the grant, Bryn Mawr is partnering with the Community College of Philadelphia and Montgomery County Community College to create a pipeline for high-achieving, low-income community-college transfer students to attend Bryn Mawr.
