Video and Text of Professor of Russian Dan Davidson Addressing Senate Committee Now Available Online

This summer Bryn Mawr Professor of Russian and Second Language Acquisition Dan Davidson spoke before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs at a hearing titled “Closing the Language Gap: Improving the Federal Government’s Foreign Language Capabilities.”

Davidson spoke about the importance of properly integrating linguistic and cultural education in both K-12 and undergraduate curricula, as well as adequately supporting faculty, administrators, policymakers and research in this effort.
