Lakshmi Somasundaram ’13 is featured in India’s National Newspaper, The Hindu, for her successful campaign to build a science lab for orphaned girls in Vedaranyam, India. Somasundaram began her $40,000 fundraising campaign two years ago after visiting the school as a 16-year-old high-school student.
