Bryn Mawr President Jane McAuliffe was among the select few college and university leaders asked to participate in the 13th Transatlantic Dialogue, which was held in Salzburg, Austria, July 4-7.

This theme for this year’s dialogue was “Leading the Globally Engaged Institution: New Directions, Choices and Dilemmas.”

The Transatlantic Dialogue brings together a small group of approximately 30 college and university presidents from the United States, Canada and Europe every two years to talk about issues related to the globalization of higher education and how the unique relationships among the three regions can best be leveraged.

The Transatlantic Dialogue is a collaboration of the American Council on Education (ACE), the European University Association (EUA), and the Association and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).
