Associate Professor of Political Science Marissa Martino Golden ’84 will be interviewed, along with two of her students, on WHYY Radio’s Voices in the Family on Monday, Feb. 7. The show airs at noon.

The first half of the show will be devoted to an interview with Stephanie Coontz, the author of a much-discussed new book about the impact of Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique on women in the United States in the early 1960s. Host Dan Gottlieb will then discuss the book with Golden; two students who have read Coontz’s book for a course Golden teaches will participate by telephone.

For those who can’t listen when the show is aired on the radio, streaming audio will be posted on the Voices in the Family website. The show’s podcast will provide a downloadable mp3 file.
