Worlds to Discover: 125 Years of Collections at Bryn Mawr College officially opens in Canaday Library on Thursday, Sept. 23, and will run through May 28, 2011.

There will be an open house from 4-6 p.m. on the opening day during which the curators will give tours of the material and be available to discuss the items on display.

The exhibition is part of Bryn Mawr’s 125th-anniversary celebration and will feature some of the College’s most treasured pieces of original artwork, cultural artifacts, rare books, and manuscripts. The exhibition will span a wide range of geographical areas and time periods, reflecting the breadth of interests of Bryn Mawr’s faculty, students and alumnae.

Worlds to Discover: 125 Years of Collections at Bryn Mawr College will be presented in the Class of 1912 Rare Book Room in Canaday Library. It will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and from 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays. The exhibition will be closed between Christmas and New Years’ Day, and hours may vary during holidays and when the College is not in session. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
