And there’s a bonus: the Weekly assigned the story to Lauren Smith ’12, who impressed editors as an intern at the Weekly this summer.

The Weekly cover isn’t the first media shoutout for Post Post: the band has also been featured in a cover story in Philly’s Citypaper, the MTV music blog “Needle in a Haystack,” and The Deli‘s New York edition, among others.  The band recently released Residents, its second EP and first studio effort (Meta Meta, its first release, was recorded on GarageBand in Bryn Mawr’s Multicultural Center). You can get a taste of Post Post’s sound on the band’s MySpace page.
