BMC Makes National and Regional Headlines

Psychology Professor Clark McCauley was quoted in a March 26 New York Times article dealing with vitriol surrounding the health-care debate that asked, When Does Political Anger Turn to Violence?

A new  project being called the world’s first “critical edition” of the Koran is a “a wonderful opportunity to do something that the field of Koranic studies has wanted to do for a long time,” Bryn Mawr President and editor of the Encyclopaedia of the Qur’an Jane McAuliffe tells the Boston Globe.

Two Bryn Mawr events, the Red Grooms Exhibition, and John Waters’ appearance at Goodhart Theater, made local headlines. The Grooms exhibition was mentioned in a lengthy Philadelphia Inquirer piece about the rehabilitation of Grooms’ Philadelphia Cornucopia. Waters sold-out show was previewed in The Inquirer, The Philadelphia City Paper and the Main Line Times.
