Bryn Mawr Students Perform at Creative Campus Festival

whyyThe Bryn Mawr Night Owls, a student a capella group, will be among the Bryn Mawr students performing at the WHYY Creative Campus Arts Festival on Friday, Oct. 2. The festival takes place from 5-9 p.m. at the WHYY Technology Center on Sixth Street in Philadelphia. This event is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.

Kiran Bhardwaj ’10 and other students of the Haverford-Bryn Mawr music program will be performing new music as part of their residency with Network for New Music. Bhardwaj will be performing “Ex Uno Plures,” a piece for oboe and piano by Richard Brodhead.

The Creative Campus Arts Festival will showcase a sampling of the dancers, singers, musicians, painters, actors and other students and faculty from institutions featured in the Creative Campus Project.

From Balinese dance to glass blowing to classic and contemporary music, WHYY’s Creative Campus Series  brings a selection of the region’s arts and culture to viewers, both on-air and online, with 150 performances by creative artists from colleges and universities throughout the Philadelphia area, including Bryn Mawr College.
