Donna Hooven Frithsen has been named Bryn Mawr College’s new Chief Development Officer. Most recently she has served as Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at Drew University.

Frithsen previously held senior development positions at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation, Goucher College, the University of Maryland, and the Johns Hopkins University. She earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Boston College and master’s from Rowan University. She also completed graduate work in higher-education management at Harvard University.

“I am delighted that Bryn Mawr will benefit from Donna’s extensive experience in development and alumni relations as we build upon the success of the Challenging Women campaign,” said Bryn Mawr President Jane McAuliffe.

Bryn Mawr is an institution to which Frithsen already has close ties. She has served as a member of the College’s Parents’ Council for the past three years, and her daughter, Christina, is a junior at Bryn Mawr.
